Just picked up a Sargent 20SXA rcvr. Needs a lot of TLC including several
knobs and a power transformer. Anyone have any information other then what
is in Moores book ? It is an interesting little unit
Thanks and 73

Hi Carl

I don't think there are many Sargent radios around, especially in your area. The Sargent company was located in Oakland Calif. I know a person who wired the radios for E. M. Sargent. Walt lives in San Leandro and his call is W6RKJ if you would like to contact him.

Sargent had an interesting fine tuning mechanism. They would rotate the entire body of the tuner.
