In a pinch- All you really need is a manual from just about any color patern generator, as the basic tests are all pretty much the same. Some units may have more features, or other patterns, but they all follow the same basic guidelines for set up and operation. If you can find one of the television service books that many correspondence courses used, this can help a lot too.

Is this a color bar/dot/crosshatch generator? I have an RCA from about 1957. Did many repairs to it (from condensers to a burned out transformer), and now I use it on occasion. Several models similar to it are covered in the RCA Color Television Pict-O-Guide, RCA's famous Pict-O-Guide for color television. They are on eBay quite often.
