I have a BC 101 reciever scanner, and need infromation on programing in the frequencies. It doesn't apear to have any crystals, but isn't digital either. As you may have gathered, I know very little about scanners. Thanks Wes

Technically, yours is a "digital", but the only digits you see are the channel numbers unless you press the "Review" button.

Just scroll down until you find the "Bearcat 101".

If you know the frequencies that you want to listen to in your area, that is half of the battle. But you do need some patience- Hitting the worng keys are common, as are not pressing them hard enough.
