faceplate for astrosonic

Joe,
I have a Magnavox Astro Sonic stereo with high fidelity. It was the first one built without tubes-- I acquired it from an old lady(the original owner) and it truly is in mint condition. The only thing though, is that I cannot find a "year of manufacture" anywhere on the outside of the maplewood cabinet or anywhere in the original operating/instruction manual. E-mail back if you want. Jon P.S. I am not sure of the type of wood that the stereo cabinet is made of.

The one I have is solid state so most likely the face plate wont work. I could send you an electronic photo if you want to make sure but most likely this is an early version which wont be the same. Thank you very much for relpying though, I really want to restore the consol. I let my parents use it for many years, it came back to me recently, I discovered at that time they must of used it a bit, as the area around the knobs is worn down in different places. I always make sure my fingers dont bottom out on the face plate, but then I didnt expect them to be that carefull I guess.
