Has anyone heard of the Ellsworth? I have one that I picked up last month and would appreciate any information that you can offer. It's six tube with the old 0-100 dial. Thanks

Maybe not the same manufacturer but same brand name. I have had my Ellsworth for some 25 years and all I can tell you is that it was made in 1934 by Eric Anderson Australia. Apparently they didn't stay around long enough to get a reputation. But the quality of the radio seems good, and cabinet construction is OK.

Clyde:
I have two Ellsworth sets, a very nice tombstone, and a small chairside on short legs. For purposes of I.D., my two sets both have the drum dial and controls on each side of the set. The Ellsworth, and also the Musette radios were made by the Ottawa Furniture Co. in Holland, Michigan, with chassis suppled by the Arborphone factory in Ann Arbor. You will find schematics in Rider's vol. III, under Musette. Any questions? Good Luck!
