I have a Detrola model 3041 radio that calls for a BK49BG tube. The tube in place is a metal tube, but there are no markings legible. I have been unable to locate this tube. I have a copy of the riders page and the tube number listed is correct. Any ideas on where to go next or what is the correct tube replacement?

BK49BG is a ballast tube. It replaces the line-cord resistor in AC-DC radios. If your pilot lamp lights and the tube filaments glow this tube is good.
