this was my grandmothers radio, I have owned it since my teens and striped the old finish off back then. now 20 years later its time to fix the old girl up. it still works but I am worried about how hot it gets, are there any dangers I should know about? Is this somthing I should leave to a pro? or is it a common model and I can use it as a begginers project.

Hi Cindy

RCA 121 is a nice cathedral radio made in 1933. There is some information about your radio here on nostalgiaair.
