Intermitten noise in a Philco Model 60
1/3/2003 4:59:15 PMBarbara
After the radio is on for a time a loud static noise comes on. The caps have been replaced per the Model 60 diagrams on this site. The radio plays very good normally, the static may happen in 10 minutes or after and hour.

Sorry the cabinet indicates it is a Model 66, it does have a short wave band, sorry for the confusion. I don't have a diagram for the model 66

Hi Barbara

You can find the Philco 66 schematic here:

The noise may be outside interference? Is the noise still there with antenna disconnected?

Norm
