Hi Mai,
It is very likely the only problem with your record changer is dirt and/or lack of lubrication. Carefully remove it and support it upside down on your workbench. Use a dry brush and/or vacuum cleaner to remove as much dust, dirt, etc. as possible. Wipe off any dried grease with a solvent such as mineral spirits or lacquer thinner. Relubricate all gears, sliding pawls, etc. with a very small quantity of light grease, such as Lubriplate. Apply small quantities of light machine oil to other mechanisms, including the motor bearings. Then invert the changer, right side up, and try to figure out how to remove the turntable. Usually there is a split-ring fastener at the base of the spindle which when removed will allow you to lift the turntable up and off. Apply a few drops of very light machine oil to the bearings at the base of the turntable. Clean any rubber drivewheels with rubbing alcohol or a commercial rubber platen cleaner, and be sure to keep all oil and grease from rubber surfaces. Hopefully this will cure your problem.
