I have a sears silvertone radio that I would like to know more about. The catalog # is 225 and the chasis # is 528.171-1. I don't know if this means anything but on the iside is engraved SEARS SAXTON. Can you tell me what year it is and what is its current value.

Your radio was made in 1950. It can be operated by battery or AC. Value would be what it's worth to you or someone wanting the radio. The book I have shows $20-$25.
