The 49 in model number is year, 1949. Rider lists 49-1606 and 1609 but not 1607. Sam's shows Model 49-1607 to be in Sam's Photofact #53. You might get this through your local library or call Sam's at 800-428-7267.

I don't have the schematic for the model 49-1607 in my Philco Service bulletin collection, but Norm Leal has given you a source where you might find one. However, I may have a Philco Service manual for the automatic record changer in your set. Do you know what model turntable your console has? Most 1948 AM/FM/Phono consoles used the Philco D-10, but I am not sure about the 1949. If you can describe the turntable, or better yet email me a picture of it, I can probably identify it and may be able to help you out.
