Can anyone tell me what a BH tube is used for? I see on the substitution page that it is equivelent to a BA. Unfortunately there is no base diagram.
Thanks

Hi Ray

BH is a gas rectifier tube used in the late 1920's. The plates are on pins #1 and #4. DC voltage out of pin #2. Let me know if you need more information?

Hi,

I have a detailed info sheet on my site, http://members.tripod.com/Art_Deco_era_radios/main.html
Just scroll down a short way to find it. The sheet was long and narrow so it was scanned in 2 parts. An application schematic for it is there too.
