Deb,
Did you ever find anything out about the console. I too have one and want to know what you found out if anything.

Thanks

Dates to around 1970. Value depends on condition. Even at best condition it's not worth much. Where I live it's hard to give them away. And if you get a few bucks for one and don't have to help load it, you're very happy.

Carl,
Here is some information about model RPC-124. Packard Bell gave all of their consoles names. RPC-124 was called "The LA SCALA"-Finished in Renaissance Antigua Walnut. 300 watts peak music power (solid state amplifier), Two 12" woofers, two 6" oval mid-range, two exponential high frequency horns and a Garrard turntable. It sold for $625.00 in April, 1969. It's a nice console. I have seen them sell between $100-$300 on Ebay. I was a service technician for Packard Bell in the 60's-70's and have 6 different models myself. If I had the room I would purchase it. If you want to ever restore it let me know I can tell you everything you want to know about it.
Best Regards
