According to tube manuals 59's should have an output transformer with 6000 ohms impedance, plate-to-plate. Secondary in an older radio will be 8 ohms.
Check Play Things Of Past, oldradioparts.com or AES, tubesandmore.com for replacements.

:Hi,
: I found the output transformer on my Zenith 420 had one side of the secondary open; I need to replace it. The set uses two 59's for output, triode-connected. There are two speakers w/ voice coils in parallel, impedance unknown. Can anyone recommend the proper input and output impedance for a replacement transformer? Thanks in advance.
