Hi,
I need info on replacing the veneer on a floor model wood radio.

Hi Jason

You can buy thin veneer in rolls at some lumber yards and hardware stores. Is will come with instructions.

I remove the old veneer with a puddy knife. Clean and sand the surface where necessary. Cut veneer so it goes over the edge. Apply contact cement to both radio and back side of veneer, wait 15 minutes. Apply veneer to radio. Once it's on the radio it can not be moved so be sure you get it right. Roll out any air bubbles.

Cut the veener to the edge of the radio. I actually like to use a file for this.
