Can metal 6f6 tubes be used in place of glass 6f6g tubes? I know where I can get several of the metal tubes for the price of one glass tube.
Thanks in advance,
Bobby

Hi Bobby

Yes, both metal & glass have the same rating. Don't touch the metal tubes while they are operating, they really get hot. It would also be a good idea to ground Pin #1 at the socket. This grounds the metal shell.
