Hi,
I just acquired a wooden radio that has no brand name on it. It appears to be in the 1925 era. It has five tubes, all are UX-201-A. Inside on the chasis it says AEROVOX and I have also located more writing that says GENUINE BROWNING DRAKE, BROWNING DRAKE CORPORATION, MA, USA. It also has a SONGBIRD DELUXE TONE FILTER. Any information on this radio would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi Jim

Many people made their own radios in the 1920's. Browing Drake sold kits. If it's a Browning Drake there will be one coil that rotates inside another.

Most early radios were similar. Use schematics for Atwater Kent Model 20 or Stewart Warner 300 series.
