AES, tubesandmore.com and Play Things Of Past, oldradioparts.com should both have replacements.
The following address has a list of coils available from Play Things Of Past.

You could rewind the coil but it has to track with antenna & oscillator coils. Only the secondary is critical. It's part of a tuned circuit. If it isn't close ends of the band won't align properly. The primary is used for coupling and not critical as to number of turns.

:I have a Philco model 90 (good set). I found the 1st detector transformer with an open winding. I can't repair it. Anyone know where I can get a replacement (its part number 03015).
:I am also thinking of rewinding it but the replacement wire I have is a slightly larger guage. Will it work if I use the same number of turns? The current winding is one level and I may have to overlap it with a few windings of the larger replacement wire. Any tips on rewinding would be appreciated.
