I just bought one that I saw at a Salvation Army. I know nothing about radios but thought it looked interesting, in decent shape. Any idea what it's worth, if it's worth restoring? They also had a Sivertone Model 7048, but I didn't get that. Would that be worth purchasing, also in decent shape. Thanks.

Majestic was one of the better radios in 1929 but very heavy. It's listed in Collectors Guide to Antique Radios as being worth $100-$125.

The 5 section tuner is pot metal. Be sure it turns without plates touching. It's worth restoring if you like the radio and have room.

Silvertone 7048 isn't listed in 4th edition of Collectors Guide.
