Wards Airline knobs

Hello,
I'm trying to restore my grandfather's wonderful old floor cabinet radio. It seems to work ok, but after reading about capacitors, I will probably recap it. The cabinet is in great shape, but all the knobs are missing. I think the model is 62 or 67-179? It has a small round dial in the upper center of the cabinet, with five control shafts. Four of them are in line, with the tuning control slightly above in the center. It is a three-band radio, with AM, police, and ? Thanks for your help!

The middle control is slightly BELOW the line of the other four, and the chassis says 62-179. Does this mean it was made in 1926? Any knobs out there?

Hello,

I have a Wards Airline Radio Model 62-194 that I have restored except that I have only two of the five knobs you are loking for. The center knob that is lower is a different shape than the other four which are round. I have two of the round ones. I had the center one until recently but i is now lost. It was in a harp sharp with four rounded peaks at the top. I will take any knobs you find after you have the ones you need.

Thanks,

Pat Colgan

Patrick,
Do you have a photo that shows the knobs (especially the harp-shaped one)? I may go the route of making the replacements, but I need a decent picture of what they looked like. Thanks for any info!
Dave
