Hi, I have a RCA model V-175, chasis RC-582. When I got the unit, it powered on but nothing but a loud hum came out. C8 on the input power was leaking so I replaced it with an equivelent orange drop, upon powering up, there is no output at all, tube filiments are lit, and I even tested all the tubes, they were good. I have considered replacing all the caps with orange drops, is this ok? What should my logical progression in troubleshooting this problem be? Thanks!

I forgot to add that upon powering up unit after replacing C8, the pilot lamp also blew, but no smoke. I am concerned about reapplying power to this unit for fear of damaging the rest of the circuitry.
