Any other numbers on the tube? If made in the US the tube number should start with a number followed by 2 letters and another number. It could have letters like G, GA, GB etc at the end.

Me thinks there might be a little mistranslation:
Specifically the SCHEMATIC tube designator/ marked chassis locator for the unit probably is V7.Whereas the actual tube's number is a 31JS6A, which was a common Hoz out tube in series string wired cheapie color sets back in the 60's.
