Hi Seamus, I don't know this particular (monitor?) but the two wires from the flyback transformer to the CRT board will be the focus and screen voltage. They probably come from the two adjustment pots on the side of the flyback. The focus is high voltage, about 4 to 5 kV and the screen a few hundred volts. I'd expect the focus wire to have thicker insulation than the screen wire and go to a tube pin that's got a plastic shield around it on the tube (the two adjacent pins will be missing to give better insulation). The screen wire will go to one of the other pins on the socket, it may also have a bypass capacitor from it to the ground connection on the board. The screen might be marked G2 on the socket. : I only need to know where two wires go, they attach to the crt board, they are high voltage wires i unsolderd them and have forgotten which goes where. they come from the fly back transformer.
