Crosley super 11
6/16/1999 9:07:04 PMJohn Ford
I need a schematic for a Crosley super 11 console circa 1937 - model # is 1117. Tubes are 6K6 (3), 6U7(2), 6C5(2), 6A8, 6K5, 5Y3,and a 6G5.
I am planning to do an electrical restoration of this extremely attractive radio.
I also have a fine Grunow tombstone which has been electrically restored and now needs some cabinet work - mainly grill cloth replacement. I have an acceptable replacement piece of cloth bought from antique radio supply - I just could not save the old cloth, it disintigrated. Question is, what is the best way to glue in the new cloth ?

Hi John

I'll send you the schematic and parts list by email for the Crosley 1117.

For information on attaching grill cloth see the Cabinet Restoration Forum under antiqueradios.com posted on 5-8-99. Several people mentioned what they consider best.
