Hi, I have this old radio sitting around that worked when I was a kid, but has some bad tubes, and a piece corroding(don't know what this piece is). I was wondering if anyone could place an approx. value on this model.it is an RCA Victor model 5T superheterodyne with wooden box, short wave and standard broadcast. Also was wondering approx. age.

Thanks

On E-Bay, it's worth $60-80, depending on condition. The radio cabinet case is called a "tombstone" because, like the real thing, it is tall but not very wide. It's from 1936.
