2) If you have Windows XP, 2000, or ME, (or 98 for a little while longer), go to the "Windows Update" site, and it should be offered up as a driver update among a host of others. Easiest way to find the site for your operating system is to go to your "Start" button on the lower left, click it once, just like youwould to shut down the computer- BUT instead look towards the top of the selections and you will find "Windows Update". You MUST use Internet explorer, so if you are using MSN, AOL, or some other browser- minimize that browser window and click on your "Internet Explorer" icon, and when it prompts you to make it the "Default browser", select "Yes" (you will get prompted again when you next launch your usual browser.
If you do any other updates, such as service packs, shut down the computer after it has been restarted, and re start a second time to make sure everythin has a chance to clear and start operating correctly again.
