Can you find a model number on the radio? If not listing the tube types may help.

: Help, I just bought a Wards Airline Superheterodyne at an antique sale. I am looking for some info in regard to this radio such as when it was built and schematics as it doesn't work.

Tubes can be purchased from Antique Electronic Supply, tubesandmore.com and others. Check antiqueradios.com/resources for other suppliers. I would first check flea markets and swap meets as the price of a set can cost a lot of money.
SPK will be a socket where the speaker plugs in.
Are you sure two tubes are 46 and not 45? I found two Wards radios using those tubes except with 45's, Model #62-132 and #62-137. You may be able to find schematics here on nostalgiaair. After schematics, click "Rider by Original Index".

: : Norm, I found the following number on the radio - OC 702148. I also wrote down the numbers of the tubes, which most happen to be blown.
: 3 - tubes # 76
: 2 - tubes # 46
: 4 - tubes #6D6
: 1 - tube #80
: 1 - tube #SPK

The Airline radio you have was manufactured for Montgomery Ward by Wells-Gardner & Co. of Chicago. The 0C that procedes the serial number is the W-G chassis number. The schematic is in Riders Vol. 5, Wells-Gardner pages 1-2. Wards used this in several models, including the ones Norm noted. Rider Vol. 5, Montgomery Ward pages 8-10.
