The station numbers were often preset at the store where it was purchased, and the local radio station tabs would have been probably supplied by a local jobber/supplier, or the store had them printed.
Values depend on who is buying them, and their condition. If the radio looks like it came right off of the store shelf in 1942, you could probably fetch $100.00 from a serious collector. If lesser grade of condition, they drop, as well as if you are dealing with someone who is just looking for an old radio for the sake of having an old radio.
If it were me, hang onto it, keep it safe, keep it working in original appearance as much as possible, and pass it down to the next generation to one of the kids/grandkids/nephews/nieces, someone who can appreciate it.
