I have a chevrolet radio out of a 1948 GMC half ton
truck. The label inside says "Chevrolet Model 986443".
Does anyone know who made this radio or where I could
find a schematic.

Has anyone helped you with this yet? Please let me know if they have not and i will
do so. I am very familiar with all the early GM radios. These were made by Delco by marketed through United Motors Service. They model you have
was essentially the same for about l0 years or so with little change.
