Philco antenna site in Abington Twp. PA

When I was growing up in suburban Philadelphia there was a small wooden antenna tower and a few associated buildings in a field a few blocks from my home. This site was referred to simply as "Philco" by everyone in the neighborhood, and I don't know much else about it. The place has tremendous sentimental value to me, and I would like to talk with anyone who knows more about it.

While I do not know much about the antenna you describe- save for what I have read, you might want to contact Chuck Schwark- He has a tremendous amount of Philco information. You may also want to post your question on the QTH list < http://classifieds.qth.com/classifieds/ >, I suspect you will find out more about the antenna than you expected.
