I found an old Aviola, I cannot determine the model number yet, but it works. I am curoius about the company. How long did it exist? Did they mass produce? Were they bought out? By whom? Where do you get books about old radios? I only have that one and a Philco model #48- 214 that we inherited. But I love old clocks and radios.

Hi

Aviola is listed in Collectors Guide to Antique Radios as being made just after WW2. The company was located in Phoenix, Arizona. AES, tubesandmore.com and others sell books about old radios.
