projection tube for projecor TV

i need a projector tube Type MW 6-2 for a
philips tv projector build in the late 50`s

Hello Frank, I guess you're after the small 2"(50mm.) B&W tube used in the Philips home projection TV. I don't have any leads but you might try Radio Wumpus in Germany at and ask if they can suggest a source. Another possibility if you have the old tube is to try some of the picture tube rebuilders in the UK to see if they can rebuild it. Try looking in the English "Television" magazine for companies that do this work. If you can't find the magazine let me know and I'll try and find some for you. Good luck, Don.
