5/17/1999 4:33:29 PMFrank Buchacher
Hello,

I need the characterisics of a Dial Lamp Type 8095D.
It was in a Philips Radio Set Type H88U - 08.
The Radio was for the european market and was build in
the middle 40´s.

Dial lamp 8095 D was used in several Philips radios in the period 1942 to 1948 (and maybe earlier and later). It is a 6,3 volt and 0.32 A type with miniature screw and a "long" glass. The dimensions are the same as the American lamp types no 40, 41, 42, 46 and 48: length 1 1/8", diameter 13/32".

Hi

Since Gidi knows it is the screw base style lamp, I suggest using the number 46 which is rated 6 volts at .25 amps. The 40 is 6 volts at .15 amps and the others are rated at 2 to 3.2 volts.
