Silvertone wood console Model 4789 (late 30's?)

I recently got a Silvertone 4789 from my grandfathers basement...it needs some re-wiring and probably a couple new tubes. It is a beautiful piece that I'd like to restore, anyone have an idea what it is worth and what a range for what someone would charge me to get it working again? I'm sure it depends on parts, but I'd like to know before I go in :)

Hello

Chris I recently purchased a Silvertone wood console Model 4789 at an antique store for $35.00 but it was in terrible condition and missing all the knobs and the medal face plate, I took it to an antique radio repair store and had them just clean all the tubes and check them some tubes had to be replaced but did'nt cost much the only tube that was expensive was the Eye tube which cost me $30.00, and I got the radio to work so now I have to repair the outside of the radio, but tring to find any books or searching the internet for information or parts on the radio has been a long search with no avail I don't even know what the radio looks like on the outside. What I do know is there is'nt very many of these radio's out there and I would hold on to it and repair it, and I'm assuming because their is'nt many of these radio's the value is high.
