Korting Radio Stereo Console
9/12/2000 9:34:40 PMChris
I have a Korting Dynamic Stereo radio console. It has AM, FM, SW, LW, and phonograph. I believe it is from the 1960's. It is in a wooden cabinet with double folding doors. It has two green "eyes" on the front that illuminate. It has an antenna direction knob, volume knob, 2 tuning knobs, and selector buttons for radio bands, phonograph, and external tape or auxiliary input. There doesn't seem to be any model numbers on it. It is about 30 inches high, 31 inches wide and 15 inches deep. I am looking for information that would tell me the value of it and I am interested in selling it. If you have any information please email me at superc@stny.rr.com

Thank you.

I have Korting it has the number 1080 on the back panel. I can't find any information anywhere. It is a cabinet with two sliding doors, stereo and turntable in one side and an open gold vinyl with glass bottom in the other half for liquor I'm assuming. Any info? Is this similar to yours?

:I think I have the same radio. I am missing the doors and I think it may have had legs at one time. It used to work till my son ( who was 2 or 3 at the time) pulled the tubes out. If you have any info yet on your radio can you pass it on to me. I want to get mine repaired but I have no idea where to take it. Thanks.

Joe--I'm in NH and have a Korting Neckermann Mailand that seems to be a rather uncommon model--Telefunken phono, FM/SW/LW receiver, tube console from the 50's imported by my uncle who was the original owner. Needs very little to be perfect--just want to find someone that will appreciate it.
