Hi Greg

Do you have all the parts? If so, don't throw them away. You may be able to epoxy them together.

These tuning wheels are made of pot metal and become brittle, almost like glass. If you have the parts and they are not badly warped, epoxy will repair the wheel. I sometimes epoxy coat the entire wheel.

Hi,
On the one hand, that piece was used in a few more Radiolas than just the 18, but finding one that doesn't have the antimony contamination is going to be a little tough.

You might try "the radio junkyard" http://vintage-electronics.com/rjy.htm

If you happen to know anyone who has a metal cutting lathe, reproduction is easy if you can find the billet Zinc, or Aluminum. Both will cut beautifully and fast, and will be much more stable than their cast originals.
The bad thing about the reproduction route, is there is no easy way to make it look original. There are a number of holes that could be drilled to match the appearance, but billet cut items are going to "crisper" appearances almost no matter what you do.

If you locate a custom metal shop in your area, they might be able to give you a quote- it would be a lot lower if you were able to hand them a multi-view drawing. Actual cutting time is short- however their overhead will often produce a shop time cost of about 60-70 dollars per hour. This is just an idea.
