There might also be at least one original tube in the set, which might also help identify it.
: My grandfather purchased a little cathedral radio for me, and I've had it now for about four years. The label on the bottom front says "Jenny Wren". It has two knobs on the front, a cut-out grill, and stands about 12 inches tall. I'm guessing that it's AM only (it's certainly not FM). The radio has four tubes. I've researched the Web trying to find any info about the radio and I've drawn a blank there. There's nothing inside the chassis or on the base to give any additional information. The Bunis books have nothing under "Jenny Wren" so I'm assuming that it may be manufactured under a different name. I'm curious to find out anything I can about it. Any help you might provide will be greatly appreciated!

With those tubes the radio would have been made around 1932. The one unmarked tube is a 45 if it has 4 pins and 47 if 5 pins. Unlike the 24A and 35 this tube will not have a top cap.

: Good questions! The case is wooden, and the tube numbers are 80 (RCA), 24A (Sylvania), a no-number (RCA Cunningham Radiotron with C15 on the underside near the pins), and a 3551 (35-51?) by Sylvania. Thanks much for following up on this with me. Your help is very appreciated. -- Anna
: : What material is the cabinet? Wood? or Plastic? You say it has 4 tubes, do you by chance happen to have any, or all of the tube numbers?
: : The era could be narrowed considerably with the tube info.
