What tubes does your amplifier use? Usually you can guess at power output if you know which tubes are used in the output stage. I have a model A500 which is about 35 watts per channel. I assume the A300 is a similar type amplifier with possibly less power output.
: : does anyone know anything about old tubetype Harman Kardon amps? The amp is model A300. How many watts per channel etc. Any info is appreciated. Thanks

Could U pls. to send me any information about A 300?

: The A 300 produces about 12 - 14 watts per channel, depending on who's output tube your using. For an amplifier of so little power, it sounds phenominal !! I have a copy of the schematic, somewhere. It lists voltages to measure and some resistance readings, but that's about it. Contact me and I can mail you a copy.

well i have had my A300 for over 10 yrs. it uses 6V6"s in push pull so it has around 12 watts per channel. i use advent model #1 speakers and the sound is fantasic. dont let the low power fool you. these are tubes not transisters. a subwoofer is not needed. i hope you enjoy it as much as i do.
