Thanks for replying. I happen to be looking for a replacement finger whell for the
one that my dog ate. No, I'm not kidding, he broke off two finger holes of the current plastic on.
He's a golden retriever/pit bull mix. Sometimes the pit bull comes out at the oddest times. Anyway,
the dial mechanism has a marking on it: a white square with a 79 in it.
Here's my email address: koransky@mail.netisa.net. Please send a message

Thank you for your offer!

Hello to anyone who knows anything about Stromber Carlson intercoms. I have two with all the parts, cords, ring boxes, etc. Is it alright to clean these before I try to sell them, or will that hurt the value. We have a place called THE PHONE STORE here in Owensboro, KY that cleans and restores. But I wanted to know from collectors, if I should have anything done or just try to sell them as is. Please email me with any answers to this matter. Hariette
Does anyone have a lead on one? If so, please conact julia@whidbey.com
Thank you!
As of now I dont have any wiring diagram, and the phone is not functioning...
(The phone might not be compatable with the service being used? Im in the process of finding out.)
However, I have drawn up a schematic freehand, and Im willing to compare wiring notes with anyone who thinks they might have the same model.
Q:Also wheres the best place to cloth covered phone wire?

Natalie,
I have a very thorough Stromberg-Carlson catalog and would be happy to help you identify your telephone set. If you can send me an e-mail picture or at least describe the markings on the bottom of the set, I could probably help you.
Stromberg Carlson was absorbed by a Swedish company several years ago but I cannot recall it off the top of my head, but will be able to find it Monday at work.
They had a large plant in Chicago in the 40's and 50's along with Western Electric, Kellog Switchboard and Supply Company, Automatic Electric Company and the Leich Electric Company, all of which made telephone sets and related equipment.
Feel free to e-mail for any information you need. I have access to a large amount of reference material.

I have a Stromberg- Carlson wall mount telephone. It was manufactured in Chicago as stamped on the windings. It is approzimently 32 in long X 8 in. wide. It had 2 bells at the very top the winder is on the right hand sideand there is a number stamped on the wooden case. that number is 18 805808. Could you please give me some info. as to what it maybe worth in dollars? Thank you very much.
2. more about the ?telephone tables? if indeed they made a particular table with the patent between June 1919 or July 1926
3. If anyone can help I would approciate it if you could e-mail me.
