Tube is inside a metal shield and has a knob on the top for a clip-on attachement wire.
Tube is for silvertone console radio. Also need instructions on how to remove dial covers so I can remove the plastic dial screen.
Thanks.

ive got a silvertone model number r5501d sn 793027. we saw it in a book and found it came out in 1940. this one has a turn table but im confused about it...it take the old style needles that you keep in a little container built into the radio and dispose of used needless in another container also built into the radio, just like the old victrolas. my question is, does it take the same needle used on a victrola or are they different. this is an electical model, it has wires that run from the stylist to the amp in the radio box inside. when you touch the needle you get no sound. the radio has a parts list but its miniture and faded and in such a place that i would have to remove it in order to see it. ill only do that if i cant find a full size parts list.
: Does anyone know anything about a silvertone radio Model #7048 Serial#935498??? Thanks
