: Hi all,
: Here's my problem. I have this model 52 AK that I have changed all the caps and resistors. It plays fine for awhile (about 1/2 hour) then the volume drops down. I replaced all the tubes, it stills does it. I did notice that what seems to cause it was when a appliance shuts down in the house with a motor, the volume drops and then slowly builds back up to the level it was. I checked the voltages with a digital meter when it does this and found nothing unusual with the readings. I found out about the appliance because my wife was running a hair dryer when it happened and I can make it happen by starting and stopping her dryer.(in a different room also) Am I getting a RF interference picked up by the detector tube or what?
: Thanks as always
