I've been searching all over the net but can't seem to find any info on the 6x32pi. Anyone have any ideas? Thank you, Paul

Hi Paul

You might try this Russian site but their English translation is under construction. You can always send them an email in English.

Hi Paul

Here is the home page for Russian site. It may have the same problem Don mentioned, slightly different characters. I can also send it by email. Then all you have to do is click on the address.

Hi Paul
Here's another site, he doesn't list your tube but may have the info you want and he has his email link.

Hi Paul, I'll scan the data for the 6X32pi and EF86 tubes. It will be tomorrow. Although not exactly the same they should be interchangeable. The EF86 was designed as a low noise tube, I don't know whether the Russian tube is a low noise type. Are you trying to replace the Russian tube with an EF86 or the other way round?
Don Black.

Hi Paul, I think the answer is no, not quite. If the Russian symbol you've printed as X (6 X 32pi-symbol) actually looks like a combination of an X and + then it's not exactly equivalent to an EF86 but should be close enough to work. It has the same base and pin connections and the characteristics are very close. There doesn't seem to be an exact equivalent.

: Any other ideas? thanks very much, Paul
