Fada model 1002

I aquired this at an auction in a box of stuff.
It is in pretty good condition. The dial and knobs are intact.
Wood case has some scratches. Has the paper labels on the back. Does this radio have any value? It has a sticker on it that says $48 most likely from an antique store. Is it worth that?

Hi Sandy,
Although the Collector's Guide to Antique Radios does not list a model 1002, it has a model 1001 listed value between $40-$50. If you sell the radio, chances are you would never get between $40-$50, unless it is in mint condition. Even then, it's only going to be worth what someone is willing to pay for it.

Also, a radio's value depends on where you live; prices on the west coast tend to be higher than in the east.

Thanks Mark appreciate the answer. It is a cool looking old radio I think I will just hang onto it.
It looks kind of neat there on the shelf and reminds me of my dad listening back in the 40's. Opps showed my age..........
