I am in the need for component values for this radio. I obtained a chematic for the series 30 &40 redios from: www.justradios.com . However, there are no caps & resistor values! In this set all the resistors "Dried Out"! By looking @ different mfgs/resembling sets I may be able to come to some kind of conclusion. This is a long procedure, like detective work! But the "WEBMASTER" @ NostalgiaAir cut me off after few seafches! HELP!!!

Hi Danny, The schematic for your Eveready 34 has been sent. I guess you mean the (electrolytic?) capacitors have dried out. The paper capacitors are probably leaky too. Actually, I suspect this set is too old for electrolytic capacitors, probably uses paper capacitors for the filters. You can use electrolytics for replacements, put a 0.1µf plastic capacitor in parallel with the B+ line to ensure good bypassing at RF (electrolytics aren't so good at high frequencies).
