I've also looked through some of the Riders schematics on this site and haven't found it. (I didn't look at too many because a notice appeared suggesting I was abusing the system by looking at too many.) The physical layout of the tubes, speaker and dial appear very similar to Model L-46, but the tubes are different.
The tubes are as follows:
Across the front, looking from the front:
Unidentified Sylvania -- I believe this must be the rectifier: the power cord is attached to the tube socket at pins 1 and 6
Sylvania 14A7
Cunningham 14Q7
Across the rear, looking from the front:
Missing octal
Sylvania 14B6
Sylvania 14A7
If I can get by this hurdle and figure out what this thing is and get a schematic, I hope you guys don't mind if I bother you A LOT. My electronics knowledge is sketchy to begin with, and looking at the guts I see a number of things I don't recognize. I see the paper capacitors everyone mentions, but there is also, for example, a square reddish-brown thing, about the size and shape of a Hall's lozenge, with six colored cirles on it, labeled (I think) Micamold, across the 14B6. To me, mica suggests a capacitor.
Any help you can provide is much appreciated.
You should be able to use the L-46 schematic. Your radio has loctal tubes. The schematic lists octal. They are the same electrically, base is different.
35Y4 is loctal version of 35Z5GT. You still need an audio output tube. An octal tube is mentioned. This would be 35L6GT or 50L6GT, if loctal 35A5 or 50A5.
The component with color dots is a capacitor. You can find out codes at the following site:

: I previously posted on 3/19 describing a table radio I was given bearing the name Regal Ultradyne (on the cardboard dial). I've now taken the electronics out of the box and looked both over carefully. There is no hint anywhere of a model number. Probably the model number was on the back of the box, which is missing.
