Did you restring the dial cord?
Thanks,
Dave
::Hello All,
:: I remember this problem. But I don't remember the solution (faulty mica capacitors?). For example 91.3 is at the exact opposite end of the band from where it should be. But the band is not backwards. All stations can be received, but they're in the wrong place, is the best way I can describe the problem. I can leave it how it is if I have to.

::Thanks,

:Johnnysan,
: Yes I did and it's exactly correct, according to the official dial cord diagram. AM is perfect. Low stations are at the low end of the band and high stations are at the high end of the band. FM stations are all mixed up on the band but they sound amazing.
: The problem is NOT the dial cord. There is another problem.

:Thanks,

:88.1 is at about 102. I'll guess that Edd knows what's going on here. Since "it ain't broke" I'm not fixing this problem. All I need to do is find each station and write on a piece of paper where it is on this dial. That's a good workaround.
::107.9 is at about 101. 93.1 is at about 106. The dial cord could not cause that problem. 102 is at about 98. The stations are all mixed up. I may just leave it how it is because it's not broken. 100.1 is at about 95.

::I think I understand what the oscillator is doing. 88 is around 102, 91.3 is at about 105, etc etc, then it continues from the beginning of the band and ends at 108 in the 100.5 position. The entire band is shifted back a little bit and the beginning of the band wrapped around to the end. But it's all linear. I guess it's not mixed up at all. I don't know how to shift it back. Parts are rusty.
