You can use a generic IF setup procedure for peaking them: RF gen injecting IF freq (175 kHz) into mixer tube grid pin through a 0.1 uF capacitor, output meter across audio output leads to speaker, speaker disconnected. Set sig gen for minimum RF output to avoid activating AVC. Twiddle the adjustment caps SLOWLY on the 2nd IF can until you get a peak indication on the output meter. Repeat for 1st IF can. Repeat the sequence a couple of times until you are sure that you have achieved the peak. Note that the IF peak is at 175 kHz instead of the more common 455 kHz.
