Thanks

The TC-55, advertised in 1956, cost only $26.95 and couldn't have done much more than check emission. You might find similar tubes in your chart, that would give the basic setup data, so you could at least get comparative results. Typically these emission testers connected all elements in parallel, except the cathode, then applied a low AC voltage to the tube, in series with a load resistor, and metered the current flow.
::ok, I know it's a long shot but here goes. I have a Superior Instruments
::Co. tube tester model TD-55 made in 1956. I an trying to test tubes in
::an old amp, but some of the tubes are not listed in the tube chart. The
::amp is newer than the tester so my guess is that the tubes were not
::available at the time the tester was made. So, does anyone have any idea
::where I could get a newer tube chart for this? I ran a search for
::Superior Instruments Co. but every company in the world comes up. They
::all think they are superior I guess.
