Hello everyone,

If anyone knows of a schematic for this radio could you guide me to it or email it to me?

Thank you,

Mitch

Thank you Carl,

I have DJVU and have it printed, one of the caps connected to the rectifier has the end blown off, any idea of its value?

The one close to the rectifier is 80MFD at 150

Thank you Warren, got that.

Please see the Pics.

It seems that the dual safety capacitor across the line voltage shorted and exploded, what is the value of this dual capacitor?

The negative lead of the rectifier has this exploded resistor that connects to the chassis ground, what is this value, not on the schematic.

I powered the radio up as is with an isolation transformer and a variac, at 60 volts the radio came on. at 70 volts I lost all reception, back to 60 volts and it played again.

Of course I must first replace the cap and resistor, test all of the tubes.

any idea why it quit on reception at 70 volts?

What looks to be an exploded resistor off the rectifier is actually a .047 capacitor. the new 650 volt caps will work fine there.

Needed this component and value also, thank you.

The original value of the duel cap is .0047 X 2 this is a good place to use an X cap across the AC line.

Thank you for the follow up Warren.

I needed those values, my schematic is too blurry to read. I have the X cap for this replacement.
