Charlie McCarthy schematic

Hello,
I have a no 1 Charlie but I cannot follow the schematic,the single page shows 3 different schematics,however the top one is the only one showing a ballast tube and yet it is labelled no 2, mine is a no 1 with a ballast tube.
Could you please tell me which circuit is applicable.My no has 5 tubes plus ballast tube.

I'd go with the notion that, since only one model uses a ballast tube, that must be the one that you have. You can double-check this by examining your set's chassis and comparing its tube types and tube layout with the drawings in the Riders literature. The various models are quite different in terms of both layout and tube types used, so there should be no confusion as far as which schematic is applicable.

Joe,
1 & 2 use the same schematic which is the top one on the Rider's.
